The main problem with scholarship and expertise of any kind is that it leaves you isolated behind an impenetrable wall of knowledge.

Unfortunately, to arrive at freedom it is necessary to see through this dense obstacle, and to do that, it’s necessary to set it aside.

The sheer mass of the obstacle, and the attachment to it engendered by the many years of accumulative effort, makes setting it aside near impossible. 

Yet, that is the task, for all.
